Constructed in either metal or plastic, each scrubber stage acts as a discrete fractional collector. Often referred to as “plate scrubbers or tray scrubbers”, the Impinjet units are available in multiple stage designs to maximize efficiencies.

Eductor scrubbers are designed to remove soluble gases and particulate by inducing a gas flow using high pressure liquid focused into a venturi throat. Additionally, eductor scrubbers can be used for direct-contact condensation.
A high liquid flow rate makes the Sly eductor particularly appropriate for collection of sticky and/or gummy particulate, as well as gases which decompose upon contact with water, such as SiCl4 and H2SiF6.
Packed tower scrubbers (also referred to as packed bed or packed column scrubbers) are designed for chemical scrubbing of contaminants from gas streams.
Sly FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) Wet Scrubbers offer a practical and durable solution to capture and neutralize hazardous components from industrial exhaust gases before their release into the atmosphere. The composite materials used for FRP wet scrubbers supplies both chemical and UV resistance. Although all Sly wet scrubbers can be fabricated from FRP, only packed towers are offered to capture gases.

Packed tower scrubbers can capture particulate at 10 microns, which is the same as a Sly ImpinJet® wet scrubber. A Venturi wet scrubber can capture 1 micron of particulate.
