“I just wanted to send a brief note and thank you for a wonderful customer service experience. I first contacted Sly on November 15, (from an industry referral) and placed an order for (100) cages. My client had a need date of 11-24, on this item, and when I informed Sly you said that the normal lead time was 7-10 days, but you would do the best you could to accommodate. (How many times have you heard that before?)
This was my first order from Sly, and of course, I was already thinking of excuses to tell my customer when their order did not arrive on time.
I placed a follow-up call on November 18 to get an update on the progress of my order. Much to my surprise, the order had been processed, filled, and shipped… and my customer would receive the order that day (Nov 18) !! WOW !
I have been in the sales and marketing world for many years, and it is rare indeed to find a company that meets expectations… it is even rarer to find a company that totally exceeds expectations and surprises you!
My congratulations to the Sly team! All of us are quick to complain when things go wrong, but many folks never acknowledge their excellent business experiences.
